SPOTLIGHT: A Conversation with Aida Dolrahim from SKINinc

Taking into consideration environmental and lifestyle factors, SKINinc offers a range of serums and solutions that are all specifically tailored to an individual’s very own skin. We spoke with  Aida Dolrahim, Brand Innovation Manager, to gain her insight on brand-building and marketing.

How does SKINInc deliver value to customers? 

SKINinc specializes in giving customers customized products that are 100% tailored to what their skin needs. Founded in 2008, it is one of the leading brands for personalized skincare, and has won over 150 awards. Taking into consideration factors like one's climate, the environment they live in and the job they do or hours they work; SKINinc uses this information to give its clients a completely original blend of solutions that will work magic on their skin. What do you love doing in your job? 

With a background in fashion and having previously worked as a stylist, I have a creative eye and love my work as a brand manager at SKINinc. My passion is paving the way for the style and mood of SKINinc; and being the individual at the forefront of establishing a distinct and innovative beauty brand.

Looking ahead, what are the biggest challenges for business? 

With SKINinc’s continued success comes a flood of competition - some from legitimate contenders and some from brands simply trying to copy the SKINinc approach. Our science and technology make it very difficult for others to come close to what we do. Still, the pressure is always there for us to communicate our value proposition again and again and in more compelling ways with prospects and established customers.

What advice would you give the next entrepreneur about marketing and building a visual brand? 

Great visuals are key to building a powerful brand. Online product visuals need to grab people’s attention while standing out from the crowd. These visuals make a promise that gets delivered when the product shows up at their home.  Visuals are such a crucial factor in establishing a brand’s personality and presence, and they are exactly what help pull in and intrigue customers.
